the damage calculator everyone seems to be using is off a bit i think. iw as at the squill cave the other night with my fwg5 grinding, 61-221, and i was spammig healthshot2, and my average was not 300 according to the calculator, iw as averaging about 750, and once in a while i would hit for 1k, or at one point 1600, really happy aboutthat one, so whats up with that?

This may or may not be the reason for what you were seeing (I don't have all the info because you didn't mention what your player speed mod is or your weapon speed), but the number that this calculator gives (assuming you're referring to the one I am thinking of) is the damage per second, not the damage per shot. Take the damage you were getting, and divide it by the number of secondsbetween shots, and you should get the numbers in the calculator.

Also remeber the value the damage calc is giving is the one you will see in your combat log, not the floaty damage.
That being said there are some errors in the calc, some specials with wrong damage muliplyers etc. Maybe all are correct for pistoleer but several are wrong for fencer (blind1, body1/2/3 dizzy1/2, healt1, hit1/2/3 scatter1/2 all have wrong multiplyers)

Assuming I am reading Rem's SWG Damage Calculator numbers correctly, you should be getting an average damage of about 288 per second with that pistol (assuming we're talking about the same pistol in your original post, and also assuming you're not using a powerup), or around 633 per shot. That's just an average, so some shots will be a lot higher, and some lower. That doesn't take into account the damage you will get from HS2's bleed either--the calculator simply shows raw non-DoT damage. You also need to take into account your target's resistances--if you are shooting your FWG5 at a heat-vulnerable target, you're going to get more damage.
If you still see higher average damage after taking all that into consideration, then I have no explanation for you. Just enjoy it.

squills are vounerable to heat and i bet that contributes the 633 damage - 750 per shot. i'd bet he got confuesed with damge per shot vs damager per second. i know i did lol.
