I have a 1.7 Speed FWG5 on a character on Lowca from September/October '03. Would this be classified as pre-nerf?

The pre-pre-pre-pre-nerf ones had speeds as low as .2. So I guess it depends on which nerf you're talking about

That was pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-nerf. I remember those days They used to have something like 4 power handlers and 2 or 4 feed mechanisms or some such, back before the first nerf around october '03 or so. Crazy stuff, some of those old FWs. That ones a keeper for sure

The prenerf ones were easier to enhance or gave better stats or something. I dont know I didnt have master weaponsmith back then.
Anyways you can get decent guns still with gorax shards. I have a 1.2 69-231 FWG5 that was speed sliced to get the lower speed and it was made in the last month. It is still possible to get nice fwg5 pistols made.. not that fwg5's are the greatest pistols... maybe after upgrade and such.

I have a whole bag of pre-nerf FWG5s cooling in my bank, maybe 15 of them. Stats range from 1.6 speed to maybe 2.0 speed and they're all around 350-400 damage. It's nice to have a little stockpile to fall back on. Hopefully they won't all suck and/or blow after the CURB.
