Does dodge help in pvp, or is it not something i should consider? Because i have very few skill points left over and need to choose my points wisely. If not should i go for markman ship instead? tx a lot for whoever replys, feed back is always appreciated.

Right now dodge is pretty pointless.

As a Pistoleer in PVP you should always be moving because you accuracy is higher then when your standing still and the dodge animation (the matrix-like sidestep) causes you to stop dead in your tracks...Which sucks a lot...also in the dodge line, bodyshot3 is useless unless your a master pistoleer, so all in all, the marksmanship line is better than the dodge line.

Just my humble opinion.

A pistoleer should ALWAYS be moving...not just in PvP, but PvE also...heh...

Vandar makes an important point -- the Dodge animation stops you dead in your tracks, so I personally DISLIKE dodging because it makes me stop.

But you actually don't dodge much at all. As a Master Pistoleer with +30 Dodge, I dodge maybe 3-4 times a night. I ran some tests this weekend to find out the exact percentage and will post those soon.

This 1 time, I dodge a flamethrower attack. 1 dodge EVER in PvP. It helped the 1 time, but....

Dodge works great, but it's not something that happens all the time...Dodge has helped my kill BH's who spam eyeshot...All it takes is one dodge, but unfortunately it's not something that happens every fight.
