what is this, nazi germany " only those of pure pistoleer blood can hold office".

if you have read any of philosophers posts over the last few months it is clearly evident that he has always tirelessly campaigned for the pistoleer cause, not to mention all the help he has provided in answering any pistoleer related questions.

My template is somewhat Philosopher's one, are you stating I shouldn't read my Mastered Profession's board because we don't want to sit and cry the whole day just to make you happier ?

Who is joking here ?

I Mastered Pistoleer 3 weeks after the game went live, I don't really think most of ppl posting here even are Master now. Philosopher is a Master Pistoleer AND a Clever / Smart person, I know he will do his job perfectly as a correspondant.

If you would open you eyes, you'll see that getting BH pistol tree supplements pistols nicely. If you got the skill pts (if you not mastering another profession, ie doc, architect, etc), you would be a FOOL not to get it.

I hunt with phil just about every night, we are in the same guild, and i can assure you he knows exactly what's wrong wtih pistoleer and what needs to be done to fix it. Just yesterday he had someone attack him for over an hour just to record out of how many attacks dodged actaully worked. Pistoleers need a correspondant that's out there testing stuff just like this, so they can proove to the devs that it aint worth **edit**.

having some working knowledge of BH pistol skills should give him a broader knowledge about the strenghts of each. I'd say it's a bonus. go soak your head.

Pure Pistoleer? Hmm Pistol+eer=User of Pistol. So a pure pistoleer is someone that devotes allllllll of their points and skills to the pistol. Not contaminating their character with things like creature handler, medic, etc. Therefore your Correspondant is much more of a pure pistoleer than you Halotest. Since you have obviously contaminated your character with skills other than those requiring the use of the pistol.

Frankly I cannot think of a better example of a pure pistoleer than someone that has some of the BH/Smuggler/Commando pistol skills. Why? Because they have created a character than is totally dependent on pistol skill, nothing else interferes with their objectivity.

You can dabble all you want. Of course climbing the pistol tree in smuggler or BH would compliment your charecter nicely. The point is....there should be no reason to. I know master BH's dont like when people dabble in there profesion and neither do I. I find it amuseing that our own corespondent is doing the exact same thing.

I never once said he isnt the man for the job, I just wish he wasnt a dabbler.

Until SOE gives us a 250 skill point profession, we're all dabblers.

Oh sorry Halotest, I think I misread and didn't understood what you meant. You mean "isn't it a joke that even our Masters NEED to dabble somewhere else with game machanism ?". Appears to me it wasn't an attack against Philosopher but just something we should worry about.

Actually it was said again and again adn agin : yes, to be efficient as a Master Pistoleer you have to dabble in another pistol using prof.

Yes, it's strange and yes, it makes Master Pistoleer way less efficient than Master Rifleman or Master Carbineer. Now, it is much easier to dabble with Pistoleer than those 2 other profs, so somewhere, they deserve powers we don't have.

If he was just a pure pistoleer he would get owned. Getting owned is not fun. Samra is trying to fix pistoleer specials so that people aren't compelled to go out and dabble. Unfortunately right now we all play a broken game so dabbling is about the only way to make sure you can hold your own. We need people like Samra in these positions to fix this game. You should be happy to have anothergreat correspondant.

Your our new pistol corespondent, but......YOU DABBLE IN BH PISTOL TREE???

What a joke. I would think a PURE pistoleer would be needed for the job. Why the need for the BH pistol line??? Is it because a pure pistoleer is worthless in PvP?

What a joke.
