What is the point of diminishing returns?

What is the point when you should stop worrying about pistol speed, accuracy, etc. There use to be caps in the old system but the new system does not "technically" have caps.

Is there a huge difference in a general ranged speed of 40 vs 60? What is enough when it comes to speed? The same goes for all of the other mods (Pistol Speed, Accuracy, Defenses, etc)

Please Help...the new system has me a little confused and I don't know where to find the info since the "search option" never works.

I've seen figures banded about of around 250 for when any more makes very little difference, certainly where accuracy is concerned anyway.

How about speed...I noticed in the Pistoleer Guid Post CU you had mentioned that pistols cap out at 1.73 speed. If I have a gun at 1.73 speed would a speed slice be wasted on it...and if it was my primary gun would it be a waste to invest in pistol speed attachments?

Speed and damage slices don't surpass the caps. Thats another reason smugglers are yelling at the devs for the new slice system.

If you tried to sliced a 1.73 speed pistol it should tell you that it is capped and that you cant do it.

If you get enough speed mods, pistol speed and general ranged speed, you can get a modified speed of 1, which is effectively the speedcap.
