Thread: Badger, a krayt question...

well I have created a toon for 100% krayt killin (4004 doc, 4044 CM, Master Carbs)
and I need to know how you place electrolyte drain on the krayt before you start the kiting?
I have attempted 2; first one I tried to run in and stick it then use parawan to get out of there, but he took me down before I could get away (even with infusion, a stim and bactashot all going relativly at the same time)

so I tried snaring him from a range, then wait for him to get to me, kd him, electrolyte, paralyze and run like hell, but he just kept getting me. what is your way? do I need disarm for this to work better or what?

any tips ya have would be great

burst run up to him spamming paralize. do not have an autoattack. I also thyroid rupture before I leave so he can't hit me as fast when I am leaving.

VERY interesting thx.

also, I didnt think you could stick fires and poisons on krayts? do they stick very easy? if they can actually land on i would definatly get MCM as that will help negate the regen....

It's not a bad stick rate at all with MCM, even on Ancients, and thats just what I use it for, to get past the regen.

Paralyze should be your opening, but I hear that the basic version has been nerfed to 5 seconds in publish 19.


If I were you I would drop the 4/x/x/x Doc and get Master CM for improved paralyze. Keep the x/x/x/4 Doc for buffs.


I either :


Burst Run in with Parwan and slap on paralyze then drain, back off, warning shot, stopping shot, fire and poison then kite.


For Canyon/Juvies I use a droid to pull, then warning shot, stopping shot and run in and apply the drain while the krayt is rooted andaggro'ing the droid.


Swoop towards a krayt and hit my bike store macro about 70m out so I end up right on top of it, then paralyze.

Same, I am MCM/M Pistoleer, and i solo krayts a fair bit. Ancients can give some trouble, as can Grands, but overall, it is over in minutes. The only problem is when your Advanced stopping shot misses or doesnt stick right before you're drain wears off. I normally prepare for a trip to the cloner at that time.

actually i jsut converted to almost this exact same temp. 4 0 0 4 DOC, 4 4 0 4 CM, master car and i dont do anything but run up and electro drain him. then jsut run back out and use cripplig shot or knockdown and i take 1 hit is all whether i am fighting ancient or ado dosent matter they are all the same. Walked up abd soloed an ancient last night for the first tiem with this temp and i only got hit 2 times was all. get urself a healing droid and some nice enhancers and good armor and an ancient should only be able to hit u for 1/4 ur health. wehn u get down low jsut use bacta shot and its almsot instant full heal. then once u get comfortabel u can move within 12m and start tossing fire/poison which dotn stick as well withotu master CM but i normally dotn fail more then 2 and they are a big help against ancients. otehr then that jsut run circles around him or keep him crippled and he will hardly move. then wehn the time comes charge shot him and run in for anotehr elecro.keep repeating till hes dead.



now hopefully that makes sence lol
