I have 130000 points of Pistol Weapons XP. I have decided to climb the BH pistol tree. If I surrender the Pistoleer skills, will the XP be usable in the BH pistol tree?? I don't want to surrender the skills if the points are not usable in the BH grind. Help!!!

The skill points will be put back in your pool when you surrender the skills.

The XP you had to earn to buy those skills, however, will not. You'll have to get more pistol xp to go up the bounty hunter line.

If I understand this, pistol weapons XP on the Pistoleer tree is different from the pistol weapons XP on the BH pistol tree. So the xp obtained with a pistol is not applicanle to both trees. I this is true, how does one specify where their pistol XP goes, if you are climbing both BH and pistoleer tree at the same time?? Has anyone ever done this?? HELP!!!

It carries over. Pistol XP is pistol xp. Only the LLC has it's own xp flavor as far as BH goes.

Your xp earned using pistoleer skills can be spent on BH skill boxes.

Works the same way with carbineer/BH carbine.

Pistol Weapons XP is Pistol Weapons XP. If it says Pistol Weapons XP then it doesn't matter where you got it.

Exactly. If it's called pistols XP, you get it from suign pistols, no BH or pirstoleer specific. But DON'T surrender all your pistol skills so you can spend the XP in BH, because you don't get the XP back, only the skill points.

same goes for the LLC, if you have previous heavy wep xp from commando, it will carry over to the LLC tree.
