Ignore schmignore. Sig looks pretty good color wise. You may want to center it though, might look nicer still. You can do that using the < center > tag (minus the spaces of course), or you can use a DIV tag with align=center, that should work also.

Hey thanks! I'm finding I have too much stuff I want to list so just trying to figure out an asthetic way of going about it is quite a struggle...

For one, sigs update retroactively, meaning you don't have to make a new post to see it. But then people can't give you pointers. 
Second, you misspelled Sergeant.
Other than that, it looks good. Centering it would work IF you made it into 4 lines:
