Read a lot of threads about FanShot, and surprisingly, haven't ran into this one...
First off, you gotta be buffed/armored. Some decent 70%-ish kinetic is fine. Brandies a must, Ahrisa if you have crappy mind stats. Of course, musician buffs always help immensely... but aren't always available. My favorite setup is 1100/1100/800 mind stats on a human w/ powerboost, or 800/1100/1100 without.
Okay. Strategy is simple - get quenkers, jantas, anything that are 'smaller' creatures (ie. this won't work well with pikets or grauls) Use whatever pistol does the best damage vs. whatever you choose to hunt
Start 65m away from the lair. Start spamming fanshot on the lair, and run RIGHT into the lair. Run right through until you're 65m out the other end, then turn around and repeat. I use a macro that spams FanShot, but mashing the key works just fine. 50% of the time, you'll have EVERY creature in your line of fire, and about 25% of the rest of the time there'll be at least a few. Blew threw pistols SO fast doing this.

How much xp did you get though?I am 3233 in pistoleer almsot to 4 in stances and want to finish it off quickly before I finish doing the investigation tree in bh

Hehe, I use this tactic to solo run Mokk missions for cash + exp all the time.

For xp I always found bolle bols on Naboo the best....60000xp approx per lair of 99+ diff. I just macroed the pbae, and let it run its course.
I've done fencer, swordsman, tkm, rifleman, master marksman and starting pistoleer on it.

That's basically how I do it. And it works very nicely. I did this with a launcher pistol and mastered Commando really fast too. If done properly, you really don't get hit too much, maybe by one or two mobs as you trun around for another pass.

I did Master Pistoleer in 15 hours, but this was with help from Bounty Hunter Pistols IV ans /eyeShot, worked my way up Pistol Tech and got FanShot, then did the rest with that special, kiting Jantas/Mokks anything i could find!!

Even with the loss, you are still hitting upwards of 6 mobs at a time. Thats gotta be at least 4 times as fast =)
