Once you hit Master Pistoleer, and without any other combat professions, what wouldthe maximum speed on a pistol have to be before you are no longer firing at thespeed cap? (which is 1.0 right?) In other words, how bad can the pistol's speed be before you start to slow down? Thanks!

Speaking stictly of Pistoleer specials (not Smuggler shots) and assuming you're not a master Marksman (who has another +5 speed), any weapon with a speed slower than 1.0 will experience some sort of delay on most specials.

This is why a lot of people are adding Desperado to their build - even BH Pistol 2 will put you at +99 speed (not to mention Bleeding Shot and Eye Shot), allowing you to fire any special at the cap regardless of weapon speed.
