I'm still a Novice Pistoleer and don't know what all of the spec attacks do yet. That being said, I think there should be (if not already) an attack that gives us a good ole pistol whip. I would add a nice touch to our profession. The animation for this could be great. Nearing the end of his duel the Pistoleer sees his foe is weaken to the point of exhaustion. He flips his pistol, grabs the barrel, and cracks his opponent across the skull with the butt of the handle. His enemy falls heavily to the ground and wakes up with a splitting headache.
I'm not sure about hit points or KD or whatever. Just the reference to Equilibrium made me think of the cleric whipping six cops with the butts of his pistols before he started shooting. If you've seen it you know what I am talking about and how cool something similar to this would be. I do not think it is inconsistent with Star Wars at all. And, I'm positive most of us (at least) would enjoy it.
This would need to be in the spec abil 4 category (like smugglers last ditch or low blow or whatever the highest pistol spec attack they have is). Only an experienced gunfighter would know when to use it in a fight, so why not let him do it.
This or some variation like it would be fun. Maybe only allow one per enemy or something like that. Especially if they fix the KD/dizzy issues.
Just a thought.

The Template:
- Smuggler (0/0/4/0)
- Bounty Hunter (0/0/4/0)
- Pistoleer (4/0/4/4)
- Teras Kasi (0/0/0/4) could potentially change and modify this to (0/4/0/0)
What is a grammaton cleric?
If you've seen the movie Equillibrium then you probably already know what this is. If you haven't, I seriously recommend you to watch this movie. Ever since juggling it, I've thought about creating an Imperial Grammaton Cleric. The entire template above fits well with the idea of a Grammaton Cleric.
First, the Cleric is an excellent pistoleer with martial arts abilities so the TK / Pistoleer marks are pretty close to the movie template. Secondly, the grammaton cleric was a bounty hunter, searching for sense offenders. Again, the BH template works well with this. And lastly, the Grammaton Clerics enforced the use of sense altering drugs (which works well the smuggler template).
If you like the idea or see a possible difference for the grammaton template, post your thoughts.
Thanks.

All we need next is the ability to dual-weild and we'll be set!

Well, you don't need to have the spice line of Smuggler in order to use spice, so why not just buy the spice needed and put those skill points into something else that would help out?

EDIT:
Meh, ignore me. Your statement threw me off, and when I looked at your template, I saw you had skill points in Dirty Fighting, not spice crafting....

I still say put the skill points in something besides smuggler since they dont actually MAKE the drugs, at least the clerics in the order dont make them individually. I say try to get master pistoleer as they should be masters with a pistol.

they're not looking for an "uber" template mr frost. they are trying to re-create something from the star wars universe. the original poster was asking for information on how accurate the template is.

Actually, they're not trying to re-create something from the Star Wars universe. They're trying to create something from another movie entirely...
