Thread: Where the new pub 10 pistols a cruel joke, or will we actually get them?

I have not seen anything official mentioning these items. If we do get em, probably high ham, hard as de-10 to get and zero AP.

It wasn't supposed to go live yesterday, it's hitting the servers on the 31st.

Actually it was supposed to go out on the 24th, hence "supposed to go out yesterday" it was delayed one week to the 31st

Nothing says those guns are for players.
The cybernetic limbs seem to be for an NPC involved in the FS quests, not for players. What is to say the weapons aren't for some of the new thugs involved in the village quests? One of the Padawan trials involves recovering a non-functioning blaster from a corpse to be returned to grieving relatives. Any one of these guns could just be the skin for that item.
Don't get yer hopes up. If they were coming we would have heard more than just what someone was able to sieve out of the .tre files.

Out of curiosity, did we hear any confirmed details about the DE-10 before patch 9 went live? If they haven't even got the bugs out of 10.0, they sure aren't ready to think about 10.3 yet.

in the official dev chat at stratics not too long ago, i posed the question aobut the weapons and fake limbs. JustG seemed shifty and not wanting to answer, so he really avoided the question all together by saying "errr...yah...just wait and see". i think they are for players, as the .Tre files they were in also held info and stats and such (percentages and coding numbers, no hard statistics). most likly to do with the 10. 3, correspondants issues patch, where we get a whole buch of goodies to try and keep us happy until JTLS shuts our whining up about the combat balance.
