Thread: PMD1 and Saber Block

I dunno if this has been posted before, but I didn't see it in teh stickies... After dueling one of the guild jedi tonight I learned that pmd1 is blockable by saber block.
Not cool.
Anyone else aware of this?

Supposed to be a MELEE attack...thus should not be blocked... would be kinda funny though watching a pistoleer literally whip a Jedi into submission

ya my bad.. I just assumed an attack called /pistolmeleedefense would constitute a melee attack...

Well, based on the description and on the effective range, it SHOULD be a melee attack... somone should start a petition

It's a pistoleer special. SWG law states that if the special is related to Pistoleer, it is somehow broken.

As for PMD1 meant to be on the melee table.. well, I don't know whether it is or it isn't, but the BH's lightning cannon's damage was on the melee damage table for a fair while. Wouldn't surprise me if PMD1 was on the ranged table... Anyone know?

I can pretty well guarantee that it's on the ranged table. After making this post I sat there with the jedi and spammed pmd1.. block block block block block block block. 20/20 blocked. It was ridiculous

wow, that is utterly retarded. Not only do we always get the short end of the stick, they turn us around and cram it up where the sun dont shine... come on, this was our one melee attack that let us have some kinda of out when fighting melee guys, if we cant even land it, whats the point of having it.

Because it looks so cool to slap giant cretins with the butt of your pistol and watch them fall over.
Even though they get right back up... I have a good time saying "SIT DOWN!";/pistolmeleedefense1
But then of course, 3/4 of the time they don't get knocked down since it's such a low-level KD.

Well, maybe you did, *I* still make an ass out of myself too often.
My PA is a goner now that I am back from my 6 month break. *kicks dirt* This Master Pistoleer doesn't have a whole lot of fun now. And I was sooooo looking forward to pimp slapping my first Jedi someday. *sigh*
