Thread: another template issue....

My current template:
TKM
Master Pistol
Smug 0040
Fencer 4200
it's great in PvE, but pvp is lacking, defenses are good, but i find myself loosing alot
I was thinking about
Master Pistol
BH 0030 - maybe 0040
Fencer 4400
This will be good in PvP i think, but I think I may get owned with having my melee defense at only 121 and ranged defense at 91. If I were to switch fencer with TKA 4004 I'd gain the meditation and keep some melee and ranged defenses, but my defense vs. kd and such will be lacking. any suggestions?

I've had that exact template for a bit over a week now, and so far I've ran once against a mindbuffed who-knows-what when I wasn't mind buffed and noticed we really weren't getting anywhere, died three times in one night against a bunch of jedi, but otherwise continually won. And that's all been using a 32% dmg sliced scatter pistol, not a geo.
I'd say it works a treat as an offensive machine, but with the lack of medic 1v1 slugging matches can get ugly. Gropued with a doc/cm, your lethal (yeah, I tried that too ^_^).
I like it. The only two times I've been down with a KD+ Dizzy, I've gotten up at the first try. Though the only PvE I've done is vs stormies and mokks/janta's, so I havn't exactly tested the limits of the template in that area yet. I'd guess it's less effective in solo PvE without medic, but again, group with a medic and you'll be an offensive machine.

ok so based on ur feed back I've narrowed down my ideas for the template-
Master Pistoleer
BH 0040
fencer 3400 or fencer 0340
I'm not to sure on what to do for fencer. Go for the ranged and melee defenses? or state defenses? help!

go for state protection, ur melee is still around 80s so thats good enough, and u dont need torso shot, not that effective with people fully comped and it hits health, every1 is buffed anyways so it wont make such a big difference

i myself am master pistol/bh0030/fencer0440
and i rarely loose in pvp, like i said, it all depends what ur setting ur temp to, group raids or dueling? mine is for groups, in groups i rarely die, and with all my tapes and stuff my d vs dz/kd are over 100, meaning i dont get dropped so easily......and specially if u have good armor and a nice gun u cant loose
