Thread: Suggestion: Sticky a BH whine thread and get mods to lock the rest
Although I'm not very far advanced in the pistoleer progression, I would like to be able to come to this forum and discuss Pistoleer things. I'd like to discuss the different weapons we have, where to hunt, the tactics to use, what specials are worth it, and so forth.
I find this difficult when 40% or so of the threads, and 80% of the posts, on the first page of the forum are about bounty hunters vs pistoleers - especially bounty hunter trolls.
So, please make one of these threads sticky or start a new one to sticky, called, "All Pistoleer vs BH whiners and trolls post here" and then close down the other threads. Then we can have the pistoleer discussions here on the first page of the forum, and the people who want to argue can do it in a thread that isn't pushing informative and useful ones into oblivion.
2. I've never posted a BH-vs-pistoleer thread. The only comment I've ever had on it is that it's apointless argument at this time due to all the broken skills and bugged specials in the Pistoleer tree. Some Pistoleers envy the BH because all the BH pistol skills work and are useful.Some BH's think they should pwnz0r due to the name of their profession and a couple minor characters and bit parts in some of the movies.It's as fallacious for Pistoleers to complain based on a comparison of working skills with broken ones, as it is for Bounty Hunters to swagger around with a God Complex because of Boba Fett.
3. You're right, I'm being confrontational here, and this thread was probably titled and phrased poorly. But really - both "sides" are wrong. Now please let's try and discuss things related to pistols constructively in this forum. I've seen BH's give very helpful input here, so it can be done. Dogs and cats living together - utter pandemonium

It would also help if we simply didnt respond to the BH trolls and let their messages slowly die away. Lets discuss pistoleer issues and our BH friends with pistol skills are welcome to join in constructively!

a) I see 3 BH vs pistoleer themed threads on the first page; 1 of which was started by a pistoleer
b) when one of the 5 issues listed as a bug/fix for the professions is: #5: Bounty Hunter vs Master Pistoleer, Id say they have a right to post countering it as a concern.
c) when a thread is titled "why cant WE use scatter pistols" instead of something like "We should get a master only weapon" you are in fact INVITING a response from bounty hunters to respond as the community looks like they want to take away the uniqueness of one class instead of improving their own
If you have a question that you need answering either post a new thread or do a search for the question you have. This thread is just another baiting attempt to get more BHs to come and do the very thing you profess to want to avoid.

Actually, I agree with your point, but I think it should be "All Pistoleer Whiners vs BH"
I am a bounty hunter. I have a second character that is going to be at least part Pistoleer.
See, I've tried both and UNDERSTAND why I will spend 217 skill points to be better than a person who spends 158 skill points. I've also wanted to try other things that 33 remaining skill points don't let me try. I don't whine that I have to spend way more skill points to be as good as a Pistoleer, although I probably should...NO, I just start another character and CREATE THE BUILD I WANT. Nothing is stoppign ANY OF YOU WHINERS FROM BECOMING A BOUNTY HUNTER.
Bushjumper, like all BH's... you miss the point. Sure, u should be elite overall, but you should not be better in ANY accuracy or speed skills. BTW, you have L33t knowledge of Carbine and Lightning rifle as well, in addition to "special missions". I think those sum up your extra points!
BTW-u should not exceed Carbineer in the aforementioned categories...
Gypsy, like all pistoleers you want to pay for a hamburger and get a **edit**ing steak.
Nothing is stopping you from spending 160 of your skill points on the bounty hunter profession. In fact, that seems to be a very common build for a Master Pistoleer to take up to Bounty Pistol IV.
