I have 7 boxes of pistoleer and the lack of productivity is...frustrating.

2. Bounty Hunter vs Pistoleer - A lot of confusion and jealousy stems from the bounty hunter profession “competing” with the title of “best pistol user”. Many address this by buying bounty hunter pistol line + pistoleer skills. A few things we note: BH is very expensive to purchase, so it has to make up for this. You can purchase both master pistoleer + BH pistol line (if you really think it's better, get both!), bounty hunters do give up defense skill mods (but interestingly enough, see above...defenses don't seem to be doing much from casual observation). All in all, most that factor in everything don't have a real issue, other than competing for the title of best pistol user. However, it's still very popular on the board(s), so here's notification of that.

This is the most reasonable analysis of the whole situation and I commend you on it. The problem is when after you posted it, the vocal minority bashed you as a BH sympothizer. Sometimes I get the impression that you are the only sane person looking for fair and just treatment at the head of an insane linch mob.

thats the most biased thing ive ever seen, why is he even a correspondent....

ive read so many bh threads saying to nerf everone else it makes me sick, they come to our forum and bash us, tell us to quit whining about nerfs, when for the most part none of us are....

i dont friggin get it, but with leadership like that, i guess it makes more sense

Why don't BH's stick to their forums, and we stick to ours? I don't go over there posting. Maybe u guys should do the same

christ, i dont want carbine, and i dont want rifle, why do they have to cry about it? why do they have to come here and flame us?

im going up the investigation tree, thats hard, and its fun....thats why im a bh.....

Jaegen, interestingly enough, ive been criticised for being a pistoleer by certain BHs.

I'd like to work with you to work out a good solution to the whole pistol user debate.

I appreciate the interest in stickying an issue thread, but not "nerf BH" as you suggest. Maybe "BHs who think pistoleers should be happy and "why BH are superior to pistoleers" might be more appropriate.

Actually, I don't think either are needed or appropriate, that's a bit antagonistic of me. The mods seem to be dealing with duplicates and flames/trolls.

You know, I did a 2 hour analysis of the last 300 posts (10 pages) on this forum. I count 7 BH threads as I described above, that is, bounty hunters posting here about why they should be superior and why pistoleers should quit asking for improvements.

I count one subject that says "nerf BH", and you know what it was about? BH knockdown. And if you read the post, many pistoleers (including myself) let this up and coming pistoleer know that indeed pistoleers get a superior knockdown to the BH knockdown at master, and that indeed he's calling for a nerf not on both professions, but on knockdown. And of course, we all know knockdown needed to be "knocked down".

And I think this started with our issues post.

If you recall, I got yelled at by pistoleers for downplaying the issue, which I left unbiased in the next report, you know, the one I sent before I got the email about"one at a time"issue submission. That same one that indeed, as this doesn't, and as anyone with reading comprehension can certainly deduce, called for 0 nerfs....which is to be expected, since I think this community has a pretty good handle on what our issues are, and what's appropriate to discuss. If you think that's a nerf post...well, then I'm speechless really.

I do agree that 0.05% of the posts I read maybe didn't really belong here, but the other 99.5% seem to be OK. Personally, except for the huge waste of my personal time to go try and see how many posts were made on this issue, I'm enjoying posting and responding here, I hope the majority of folks feel the same.
