Jaegen88 - It's very hard to plan a character currently because some things are very up in the air. I believe that due to their inability to balance things during beta, that a lot is disabled right now. For example, I believe that skill enhancement items and defensive skills are intentionally disabled, not bugged. Things like rifleman with 100 speed firing once a second and people piling up the defensive skills and becoming unhittable (happened in beta) lead to this, and they haven't found a solution yet.

Would it be possible to try and get some info on what is planned for the defensive skills? And also about whether or not the degree of KD nerf currently on the test center is planned to go live? Sony's information sharing has been pretty lacking so far, and I'm hoping that a class rep would have more luck than the rest of us that have all of our posts ignored. If defensive skills aren't going to be enabled and KD is going to be that weak, then I see no point (largely due to our lack of pool targetted attacks) in doing pistoleer at all. BS2 + Eyeshot would be the two best pistol skills, and we don't get either of them as a Pistoleer. Plus if the DX2 turns out not to be AR1, then there's another reason to ignore Pistoleer entirely.

All good questions, many of which I have personally as well.

I'm going to start a "master list" of questions and we can just start checking them off as we get them answered. In many cases, I'm guessing it won't be through me directly, it may be me talking to other coresspondants or someone asking a question to the test center community, etc.

I think things are just dealyed right now, once they start communicating on issues, it will probably be a once per month direct communication with us. There's potentially a developers live chat down the road, another place to have a very solid list of prioritized questions to try and get answers to.
