I have Novice Pistoleer and Intermediate Pistol Marksmanship. I also have an EXTREMELY low amount of Combat Experience. I won't be getting Melee Defense until I get the other Intermediate skills and part of an advanced skill. I need to know what the hell I'm gonna kill to get some good XP while solo. OR, whatI should fight with a Carbineer Novice grouped.

Please, help me out guys, I need XP quicker than Valarian's at 380XP each.

If you fear the nerf bat, and wanna just tell me quietly, PLEASE feel free to email me your help at [email protected] THANKS!

I am currently a novice pistoleer with just one skill in the far left tier (forgot title... again), and am approaching getting KD.

Up until a few days ago I've been soloing Baz Nitches. Good exp (3k weapon exp), and since they didn't attack socially, the risk was perfect for me. I would be able to kill two or three, then take a break and heal back up.

I haven't tried Baz's since their patch, though I am going back to try them again soon. Attempting to find good exp mobs of a little lower level, I headed to Talus and had a good time killing Greater Sludge Panthers and those giant turtle looking things (forgot their name.) Getting about 1k-1.5k pistol exp a kill on those buggers.

Keep in mind I also have medic and CH skills, so if you have neither the going may be a little tougher for you, depending on what you do have. The pet I use isn't anything uber, a 90% grown mountain dewback. Unfortunately, I only get about 100-250 CHXP on these mobs, nothing like the 500 CHXP I used to get on the Baz's.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them. I'm especially looking for mobs that will get me more CHXP.

You aren't QUITE at the solo point yet. Until you get one of the other pistol specials, I would hold off on soloing; try looking for large Tusken groups. If you absolutely HAVE to solo, go to Dantooine and kill grassland voritons. They give 5k xp per kill. They are aggro and social, but you won't see more than 2 at a time (if that), so if you stack HS1 and 2 and yo-yo them with warning shot, you should be alright.

I am working on the same thing, there are ways to get good xp, find a good spot and work it before they nerf it. Also get a bot if you have the money thats how I solo creatures that pay out 3k xp.

If you don't want to head to a "dangerous" planet, then Tatooine's Feral banthas are the answer. You'll find them west of Bestine and North of Wayfar in the Dune Sea area. They con higher than they are. They do aggro, but only if you are right on top of them, and they never group aggro you. You'll pull in over 1k pistol exp easy from the buggers and you can warning shot them very easily, so mod management isn't a problem.

Other Tatooine based alternatives would be some Mutant Womp Rat Lairs and Scyks. Both are only around the 650 mark, but can be safely soloed. Rogue Banthas will net you around 750 exp, but the Ferals are better, their hams are lower and the exp you get is much higher.

Thats my best solo recommendation for Tatooine anyway for the level you are at.

I second banthas, you can run faster than they can, so you can kite to your heart's content.

Fambaas on Naboo aren't bad but you need a droid or pet. I also find the Phen dart traps holds a fambaa down nicely while drilling him with BS2 and Double Tap
