I am a commando now, but am finding a devout passion for the pistoleer field. Ive heard that with these two mixed together the damage is amazing. Dont get the wrong idea - im not a big fan of the pretty little blow torch (although it is nice and keeps you warm at night) but am an avid fan of the LP (solely for the big boom and the nice damage/specials)

I think in my heart i just really dig the pistol.

As a commando - im the kinda player that likes my field due to being able to use all sorts of diff weapons which i can apply to diff mobs for the most efficient kill. I have delved into CH but have found it is a little lame when you can just buy a non CH pet to help ya out and amuse you with little tricks from time to time.

SO, with that said - can i get some advice on which tree to go up in pistoleer to assist me with my launcher pistol. thanks for all your help - im not sure if yall enjoy commandos tweeking in on your boards - but it is honestly out of great respect for your proffesion. Thanks again - hope to fight alongside with yall at some point .

Yes, Commando / Pistoleer is a nice (very nice) combo.

LP is labelled as a pistol for the game, so every bonus / move you can get from Pistoleer can be used with this weapon. For those reasons, I would suggest you to rush for Stances Line and the Techniques one (well, not sure about names, I mean line 3 and 4 of our tree). That way, you'll get all our best moves and speed bonus, plus KD. BodyShot 3 isn't worth the XP atm but this may change soon.

All will depends on how many SP you have to spend.

weapons: a good fwg5 (pre nerf)

a RP

a scout (I dont use it anymore)

a dx2 (only use it for those mobs with vuln to acid)

a tangle (only use it for pvp against some guy with very good comp = very rarely)

Do anything to get up to Fan shot. Go to Dantooine. Get missions for Pikets. Have a tank (i use AT-ST does great because it doesn't move and has long range) or a grual works too but it gets its health taken down quickly unlike an AT-ST. Tell your tank to attack the lair. Make sure it aggros EVERY creature at the lair. If it doesn't tell it to attack the creature it didn't aggro. Then move them away from the lair and fan shot away. I have found you can grind thought pistoleer in 1 day doing this just spending 6 hours yesterday i got 1 million pistol xp. MAKE SURE U DON'T HIT THE LAIR WITH FAN SHOT AND YOUR NOT CLOSE TO THE LAIR INCASE IT.. You know when it starts blowing itself up? Well don't get near it or you'll aggro any creatures that spawn.
