Thread: Any advice for killing NPC's

I'm looking to hunt high end NPC's without a tank pet. Right now creatures are a piece of cake since you can use warning shot to keep them away. Any suggestions on taking out an NPC(like a high end rebel mission)? About the only thing I can do now is healthshot1 and 2 and then mount my pet and kite them till it wears off and repeat till they are dead.

I've had some success with methods like the one you describe. Hit and Run (with bleed shots), and hope all the guy's friends don't join in the chase. With Exploration IV, I've found that I can usually use terrain to outrun them, without even using burst run.

Lure them into a group of Imps, or use Feign Death which has saved me numerous times.

fan shot...fan shotr...fan shot....killed 4 npc imps in 20 seconds shooting only one target.. and no pets...Koonta

What were you using for your weapon? Krayt FWG5, republic blaster?

Get the fanshot line first. Get a pretty good fwg5, and a pretty good kinetic pistol....'striker' is the name I believe. Go to Dantooine, and find Kunga Scouts and/or Kunga Woreleavers(or something like that), and spam fan shot. They'll die pretty fast, and if they get too close, just use burst run. if there are kunga warriors around, equip the striker pistol.
If you can find the groups (I can track them...lucky me!) you can get 10-25K each group.
