I was reading the state of the game letter by Gary Gattis, And im proud to announce the release date for the combat rebalance, if you didn't alrdy know, it comes out publish 10. It takes 6 weeks for a full publish to arrive to us, with stating that we just had publish 8 reach us. We will have the combat rebalance in about 12 weeks it seems. So lets just hope we can wait this out and hope it rocks.

I care. Seriously I can't wait for a better DE-10 and a combat rebalance. Just hope if the pistoleer/smuggler specials get nerfed I get master first.

don't be discouraged, s-w. we're just all kinda burned out and tired of the false promises (mistakes, errors,oversights,whatever you will call them)the devs have given us. TH even posted on our forum a week or two ago and was either ignored or flamed by most of the posts...

anyways, estimated publish 10 release date is July 20.

LOL I never knew february lasted for 6 months. None the less it's about time they do something about the combat.

You won't have to worry about any pistoleer specials getting nerfed.. as most of them literally can't get any worse. If no changes are made to our specials or speed/accuracy mods, you can expect to see further nerfs of our titles, with the possible new names of 'sissy', 'big girls blouse' and 'mentaly challenged'

On a more serious note, Smuggler specials aren't likely to be nerfed either. Withthe Smugglerrevampcoming (allthough things still aren't looking too hopeful from first impressions ), the specials are going to be enhanced if anything.

You will find us less than drooling over the combat rebalance as we have been hearing about how it will fix everything for several months now. We also heard about the Dev team looking into the state of our special attacks several months ago. Guess what, we have less now than we did then. With the way things work Pistoleers will recieve the combat re-balance 6 weeks after the rest of the player base. Dodge animation anyone?

Thank you for the info tho, I tend not to read the letters from the SOE staff as they are usuallty full of the kind of stuff you step in at the farm.

So basically at the end of July or begining of August, if things go well, we'll have the combat rebalance...

That is a long time to wait...

Oh well, there's always COH to tide me over until they fix pistoleer.
