Well I admit I've just posted a similar post on the Smuggler boards thought I would do the same here.
Basicly I've been lurking for some time & finaly made Novice Pistoleer today & so thought I would say hi.
I'vebeen Master Pistoleer in the past but droped it due to wanting to try as many proffesions as I can along side TK (which is a proffesion I've always stood by), having recently got a new character & I decided to go the route of the Tri-Master template of TK, Pistols, Smuggler after hearing good things about it from many people, simply about it been a fun, Star Warsy template mixed with what I enjoy. I've decided this time around I won't be grinding Pistols but will be taking it slow & leveling in a way that I get to know the proffesion asI level & I'm looking forward to when I hit Master (In a week or so hopfully). Hopfully as I get to know the proffesion more I might try & bea bit more active here as well insted of just my normal lurking.

Welcome and good luck with your progression through the skills! 
I've been a pistoleer for over a year and yes, it's a nice profession with lots of template options. One of the thingsI likethe most are all the kind of damage types we can use.

Welcome to the profession, the Pistoleer board seems to be full of some very pleasent types so it's a nice place to post.
