Thread: Do Dueling Melee fools of Dantooine exist on all servers?
yeah, they are called bi A tches.
This games sucks at pvp, too many exploiters... all they do is hit one key to fight..
A pvp game/fight should require skills not simply "button smashing"..

They day they actually make this game actually require aiming or physically hitting something. You will lose half of the people that PvP. Most have become so accustomed to just hitting a macro combo that if they actually had to use some margin of skill it would frustrate them too much. These types of people do well in games like City of heros. Now you will have those that say this PvP system requires skill. Yes skill in hitting your eat synthsteak macro or your center of being macro that continuously cycles all day long.
As far as the weenies dueling at every corner, well on Ahazi we have the Jedi public duels. These things last for 15 minutes and sound like a couple vibrators caught in an electric fence. We also have the typical flavor of the month defense stacker duel that lasts for a half hour.
"You must remain 30m away at all times."
What do you mean that isn't fair?!?!? It's not my fault you picked a proff with no ranged skills

For some reason, random melee 'duelers' have taken up shop at the Mining Outpost on Chilastra server. These are the tkm/fencers who stand around all day yelling "WHO WANTS TO DUEL? NO DB."
These are the ones that when challenged by a pistoleer, or any other ranged prof for that matter, will say "OK, No running, no healing, and no DoTs". As if you are supposed to say "OK", stand there within their ideal range and let them spam their Dizzy/KD attacks (that is the only one they seem to know). Forget the fact that an advantage of our profession is RANGED attacks...and forget the fact that most ranged profs invest some of their SP in medic...

Nowadays though, with Ithorian Mist and Thakatillo, I had a TKM friend of mine try to KD/Dizzy me 30 times until it stuck as I wanted to see just how much defense the combo of food was offering me... so I dont worry too much about that move anymore.
