I was in the geo cave with two friends the other day. one is a TKM and the other is an aspiring TKM. anyways, the spawns were coming slow, and a carbineer there was stealing all the kills. we decided to head out. but being lazy, we wanted to just take the easy way back and die. So we dueled each other. I dueled the TK novice and smacked her down. Then i dueled the TKM. we stodd toe to toe. I had just eaten some synth and thatkillo before. I also forgot to remove my 80% kinetic. not to mentino both of us were sporting full doctor/dancer/musician buffs. I couldnt stop laughing. head to head, standing toe to toe, he barely hit me. maybe 1 out of 3 hits. he knocked me down once. I was able to knock him down twice with pistolwhip. I started with stopping shot, but switched to spamming eye shot to take him out. the fight took qyuite a while, with him finally beating me. one more shot from me and he would have lost. he got lucky.
I just wanted to say that even against a TKM, dodge saved me 2 out of 3 attacks. it was quite surprising. it also pissed him off because I kept sidestepping away from him.

Now try stacking it with some fencer to geto 125 dodge... then take the dodge food since it will break the cap. It's crazy.

Dodge food doesnt actually affect your dodge multiplier. The should have never labeled it as a "Dodge %", but they did. What it does do is make you harder to hit, but is not tied to any specific skill like dodge or ranged defense. Thus, anyone can use it and you will be hit far less. Its still useful, just not in the way that you would think when first looking at the stuff.

So if that's true, then what the people above me said makes no sense. I never dodge period in PvP, but maybe that's because everyone on my server is rifleman.

Its true. I use to think like some of the other people on this thread before Randonb set me straight. ![]()
