ok here is what you do. At novice pistoleer have a master weaponsmith make you a krayt republican blaster and get really good comp armor. Go do savage quenker missions until you get fan shot. Then go to the geo cave and fan shot them, they give 5k per kill, they keep on spawnng and you pwn them. I got master pistoleer in 2 days doign this. If there is not a pistoleer at the cave with you wait until tou cap the skill untill you leave the cave

I was just writing about going to the geo caves yesterday. I had an OK republic with a good damage slice and made 700k xp on one set of buffs. It was awesome. And I was only wearing a decent comp breastplate, not the whole thing. I had some melee guys tanking the geos, and I was still making 5k xp per kill and was hardly ever touched by the aggros.

I believe this is an exploit. Somehow the damage that is being done to the dead bodies is being added onto the alive creatures. (I think there are Rifleman posting they could do upwards of 5k+ per hit). There is a thread on the rifleman board like this, except using Flurry Shot 2, which is a similar attack to the Fan Shot (both have the cone shaped AOE).

Actually, we were wailing on one Geo at a time, so I don't think it's an exploit. We were killing them so fast that they were only respawning one at at time. Solo, they'd totally kick my touchas, but with folks tanking them it was great. When folks would come running by with harder mobs chasing them, I would use Bodyshot 2 and still was making 5k per kill.

Does it have to be composite? What kind of damage am I looking at getting from geonosians anyway? I just got some pretty decent Ubese (if I can ever take delivery on it) with 57% kinetic and 30-something percent on the rest. Would that do with a decently sliced Merr Sonn Quickfire 4? (Republic BLaster) I just got fan shot and would like to try it out.

They do stun damage with those damn blasters, so unless your chest plate has at the least 1% stun protection, it's butter to them. Hence, I'd say get at least one stun piece for health, and pants or boots for the action

It hassomething to do with the dead corpses lying in the cave, just passing off what I heard. Knowing how some of these CSR's are, I am actually scared to go there.

This is who was with me when I went there: two novice TKA's, a Marksman, a fencer who wasn't using specials, a doctor, and some CH's little bunny. I was wearing a composite breastplate with no stun resist. Almost never got touched by the Geos even though I was doing the most damage. My only incap was when my computer crashed and while I was gone, the geo aggroed only me.

Its one of the new Bush schematics. If you want the Democratic blaster, then do the Kerry quest.

The 'corpse pile'bug was supposed to be fixed, so I doubt it's an issue.
