Ok, I just earned the pistols 3 box. I can now use the scout blaster, (whoopie!). Looking on the bazaar, the average scout blaster did about 12-80. This is not a big improvement from my DL-44 (or whatever its called). I am finding the 70,000 XP needed to get the FWG taking forever. Are these pistols just really bad, or does it take a hella long time to get there. It takes me a good ten minutes to kill a huurton with the pistol Im using now...

That damage is really poor for both the scout blaster and dl44. It sounds like those were looted ones, not crafted ones. I'd suggest looking for better ones.

My DL44 does 84-215 (ish...) damage without a powerup.
Krayted, kind of funny actually.

Yes, those were probably looted scout blasters. You can buy normal 60-180+ ones for 5-6k. Just got to search for vendors for them.
