If you only had 32 skill points to apply to pistoleer, how would you allocate them for max effect? Oh...you don't have any other combat related skills and you will be doing mainly theme park stuff. Thanks for any replies!

ok, do you at least have Marksman Pistol 4? If not, 29 points for that. If you have pistol 4 then I would suggest going 0/3/4/0 and using the fastest pistols you can find.

That will give you fair accuracy (well, sorta fair, bieng as how horrible accuracy is even at master, but I digress) as well as all of the good specials (stopping shot and fan shot... yep, that is about all of em too )

32 skill points in pistoleer? 0/0/4/3 + nov = 32.

Gives you access to pretty much all our offense, since you are takin this for offense. With a little medic you should be able to do fairly well against mid/lower lvl MOB's, like the ones in themeparks. Also gives you our KD attack.

Everyone will agree on the 0/0/4/0 part, the other 3 boxes will really come down to your playstyle. I prefer to put more shots out, rather than fewer, higher accy shots, but you may not. For my money the last line is worth the first 2 combined, especially with "dodge pizza"(pikatta pie) out there to buff yer dodge stat.

LOL, you said "dodge pizza". I never thought of it as that kind of "pie". Rock on!

Pistoleer is half of the profession, the rest is in Bounty Hunter 0040.

If there's not enough points for Bounty Hunter, go Rifleman instead.

Im serious. Pistoleer alone is simply too slow and rather inaccurate alone, not making up for the weak damage output, and without BH you miss out your only decent easy-obtainable Armor Piercing gun, a requirement against every high-level mob out there. You are missing out your only secondary poolattack (eyeshot) and your only fire attack (torsoshot). Next to Fanshot and Stopping shot thoose are the most important specials out there.

With Rifleman you get everything in one package for much lesser skillpoints. You can truly rock with heavy armorpiercing mindattacks and you do not need a second profession to make up for your weaknesses. If you are not a Pistoleer by profession, and pick Pistoleer only as a secondary profession to a non-combat profession, consider Rifleman instead.

Now, if you already have Bounty Hunter, or simply ignore the things you miss out on by only having Pistoleer, I suggest you put it in Novice Medic. Get 4100 or something. Also grab yourself a +25 injury treatment / +25 injury treatment speed BE shirt. Now find the best B stimpacks you can find in the game, and you will be able to heal over 1000 damage per stimpack. This will help you alot in PvP vs people that cannot target mindpool, themeparks, grouphunts and whatever, and you can even use it to heal your own wounds when in a cantina.

Having novice medic really makes a single-aimed optimized profession to be much more flexible and useful. 2000 will give you first aid as well that's helpful against nasty bleed attacks.

Remember that Pistoleer like all ranged professions are a ranged support character, not a tank. Therefore you do great if you can also heal your tank.

Besides that, I also have an annoying sig that looks like part of the post.
