The answer to balancing duel wield is simple
1 pistol = no attack bonus penalties
2 pistols = -5 or -10 attack bonus penalties to both pistols in each hand
Thus you get the firing speed of two guns (more attacks in a shorter amount of time), just less accurate and not tampering with the game balance to much to upset other peoples builds

I almost feel that dual wield should be just looks. This game is so imballanced we don't need something messing the equation up even more...

Halve the Accuracy or Damage outputwhenever a second gun is used.
-X is not a good idea. It doesnt matter if its -10 ... -25... -34,5... it never make up for the fact that a Master Pistoleer have crappy accuracy while Master Pistoleer BH0040 have supreme accuracy.
Halving the accuracy (-50%) makes it balanced regardless of how high the accuracy is and therefore gives the same penalty to all professions or templates.
