Hey guys alway kinda wondering about the strength and fun of this proffesion can anyone please fill me in on some info about it

I love Pistoleer, but it certainly doesn't deal out the same damage as one of the melee professions. However, in the Combat Upgrade, I expect all the specials to be fixed and for us to get some love. I'll be sticking with Master BH and Master Pistoleer as my favourite combination... Only Commando was more fun for me.

You really, really, really, let me say again, really need to know your own reasons for picking any profession. Your goals and interests are (likely) completely different from mine, and the next person that reads this thread probably has different interests from you and I, so all reasoning we can give is of subjective value.

If you roleplay, and pistols are a part of your character concept, pick pistols. If you are a PVP'er, pick the current defense-stacker template of the month. If you want PVE power, you probably want TKM or some other strong melee. These aren't all necessarily mutually exclusive from one another either.

Bottom line is, why DO you want to be a pistoleer? Your reasons arecritically important to know if you want advice that will fit your expectations.

As a Pistoleer it's a blast PvP , which i have to say i haven't done much of because i'm pretty crap (although i must say i have won more duels with Pistols than i have with the uber swords) for money making i use "last ditch" on a Mokk/Janta lair for 30 secs (which is as quick as most proffs although u don't get to loot) for all round good fun , Pistols are class for reasons which i can't explain , it's just a buzz in whatever situation
