OK i know this isn't really the right forum, but it is pistols related i promise.

OK i have been working towards the triple master, got pistols 0/0/4/4 TKM and a good way through smuggler when someonein the smuggler forum put an idea into my head that just won't leave.

I'm getting tired of everyday hunting, and only go after the high end mobs with my guildfor fun hunts. Having been master rifle, and still TKM (9 months and counting) i kind of got used to the uber thing for PvE.

Anyway i was considering the following for my template instead of the triple:

Master smuggler

Novice pistoleer

Bounty hunter 0/0/4/0

Novice commando

TKA 4/0/0/0

And the obvious requirements for each.

For pistols i get a better speed and accuracy than master pistoleer, with BH pistols, and novice pistoleer. i get the scatter, but loose the DE-10 and geo. now i'm not too worried about the geo with no armour piercing, but i have heard good things about the DE-10, however i'm wary about the price of said weapon.

Would i notice a huge difference in PvE ability with the weapons availablefor above, over the DE-10. i don't pvp much anymore, and with the solo group nerfing, i won't solo much more than Stormtroopers camps and the 10k picket missions out of dant. so as long as i can make good work of these with the weapons at my disposal, i'm happy.

All I can say is that I finally mastered pistoleer last week and got a nice weaponsmith (12pt) to make my DE-10 for me with some Krayt tissue I had bought. Got a cool damage slice and now things tend to die oh so much faster. Yes, it does energy damageso its not great for pvp, but at 557 max Damage with a powerup it cuts things down like you wouldnt believe (especially so with help from the BH pistols line!)

Im also not sure how much my DE-10 would be worth as I looted some of the components and bought others, but they generally sell from 2-7 Mill, give or take.
