Havn't tested this special out much in PVP. It's works wonders against ranged pve npc's. Does it work against melee fighters or is it a strickly vs. ranged attack? Will it work vs. ANY type of attack .. example .. combat medics throwing dots, jedi using force powers, jedi using lightsaber, etc. Thanks for your input.

It does indeed, to the point where you can lob DoT's on someone and spam disarm on them.
They might get a few hits in, and they can heal as much as they like but eventually they will tick down if they dont have anything to heal it with.

So if I blast off a disarming shot against a combat medic who is throwing (or is gonna throw) some dots at me .. it will delay his attack for about 5 seconds .. or until I land a damage shot?
If I blast off a disarming shot against a jedi who is frying me with force lighting (or is about to) .. it will also delay him?

You cannot perform any combat move while disarmed. You can spam this on your target and they will be delayed until you miss or run out of action.

its actually very good when fighting melee, especially jedis. If a jedi roots you, and then get close, you spam disarming until you are free to move, then root him and get away

yup, it has saved my rear against my jedi's. When they break root, my next shoot is normally disarm. Gives me at least one more free hit.
