Thread: anybody try using full auto attack from carb with a pistol...?

tried it the other night but couldnt tell if it was doing anything, Ive heard you can use other specials with diff weapons, does anyone know more about this?

some of the carbine specials require automatic weapons for them to work. by automatic weapons, I assume they mean carbines (or at least a subset of carbines.)

thanks Nifty- i guess that would make sense. has anyone come across a pistol type thats auto? just curious...

i curruntly use a dl44 metal that seems to do all the carb moves when i use them, and i get good damage as a rule

I am a Master Pistoleer/Master Carbineer and I do this all the time since I prefer to use pistols. The full-auto area is a much larger cone than fan shot, and if I remember correctly it also does more damage. When I am fighting large mobs I alternate between the two while they cooldown.

My default attack is full auto attack. I haven't found a good default attack for pistols. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
