I am working on a pistoleer; and not quite sure what to do. I am now tossing around the following templates:

Pistoleer/Doctor

Pistoleer/Smuggler

Pistoleer/Squad Leader

I used to play a long time ago, but really know very little about any of this; and any advice/comments/etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a profcalc which will let you play with those to see what skills & abilities you get along with where you can dabble.

With Master Smuggler and Master pistoleer you can go BH 0-0-4-0 fo the BH specials or

MS/MP/Commando 4-4-4 which incrases accuracy and defense.

If rebal i sugest going imperial

but in the endi t comes down to preference, all your temp's have their advantages, but what do YOU want to do. The squad leader one is nice, get an intmidator pistol at master sl which looks/sounds kool and does pretty good damage.. doctor has the whole uber single heals, wound cures, state cures, and buffs... not too mention the quick rez.... havn't played with smuggler myself yet so no advise there..

but go with whatever is comfortable to you, there is no wrong templete except the one's you don't like..

M.pistols, m.bh, 0404 Squad leader is the shiznite ( and my template)!

highest possible defense of the ranged professions and faster with a pistolthan all but a M.pistols, m.bh, m. marksman (by only +5 tho)

...but you get +65 moremelee&+50 moreranged(+75 ranged if leader of a group) defense

a freaking ranged tank!

I play a Master Doc/Master Pistoleer/CM4000 and my heals rock

I can keep a group of 5 players on their feet and my Pistoleer crowd control means I can deal with adds and aggro from healing.

I can solo L82 normal or faction missions with ease too.

The only problem I have is finding a pistol thot is worthy of my ADK

Ex-Combat Healer from Hell, FistFighter, Pokemon Trainer and Guntoter
