Hey guys ( Yes, I am a pistoleer/Bounty hunter)

Would like to get you guys out in to the open to partake in a debate thats rather lacking atm on the general forums. The pistoleer population there has only been able to mumble such things as nerf them dude lolzzzzz

Who wants BHs nerfed? We just want to be noticeably better at using pistols than BHs are. If BH pistol ability was lowered they should get compensated in some other way to make everyone happy.

There is no conspiracy. We don't hate BHs. We just want our pistol abilities to be noticeably better than any other bare profession.

one thing that bothers me is bh is jack of all trades type of char where as a pistoleer is or should be marster of pistols

haveing said this i seen a scatter pistol on the market and with out checking if i could use it (stupid me thinking that i am a pistoleer i should be able to use a pistol) brought it than found out i couldnt use it

on top of that we get no new weapons in the pistoleer tree

the benifet of being a bh is you have difernt weapons you are skilled in useing so swaping between weapons during a fight to best fit the person your attacking should be where you excell

a pistoleer should be better at useing a pistol of any sort than any other as this is what they are trained in a pistoleer should be able to use any pistol

in my opinion nothing should be nerfed? why bh's work hard to get there and we word hard to get there, though i do wish some of our attacks had a bit more pizzaz, ya know?

one more thing i would like to add, i do thing they should have a feature where knockdowns could not be spammed..that would solve some problems. anyone dissagree/ agree?

2 things to say here.

first, spammage of knockdowns doesn't happen. at least not against someone thats good. the reason being that if you get knocked down once, you aren't alive long enough to get KD'd again, plain and simple. you die too fast cause they guy that's good at it, not only has knockdown, but another devestating shot (like stopping shot) that will suck the life out of you. nerfing KD won't solve a thing, and all of you that are hollering for the nerf are still gonna get owned all the time.

second. pistoleer should NOT be more effective than a BH. plain and simple. BH is the MASTER of all weapons people, hence the master marksman requirement. pistoleer can use a pistol, and that's it. if you don't like that, tough. go spend the time required to get good and become a BH, or forget pvp cause it's not for you.

just thought of a 3rd thing. how do you figure that a pistol BH is better than a pistoleer anyway ? i have BH pistol and pistoleer stances and grips and so far, pistoleer is way more useful with the pistolhip knockdown than any bh pistol skill i've seen so far. also, stopping shot on average does double the amount of damage any BH pistol attack does. (i don't have torso shot yet, so haven't compared that to stopping shot)

all in all, i would say that pistoleers with the killer stopping shot, and the knockdown along with all the defensive bonus's are actually already better than the pistol BH anyway.

right now im working on my pistoleer skill tree and im curious do you think the best way to stop most of the complaining is to just nerf PvP knockdowns and also on bounty hunter marks what kinda loot do they drop? anything good?
