Thread: Is dodge as effective when you are prone? Or is it more effective when you are standing?

I find that Dodge works best for me when I'm running around in all different directions and always on the move. I can take on a high level Imp Mission without buffs andwithout using specials just by running and gunning. Once you stop moving and you use specials your dead.

It is effective. At least at one time, you would see an animation of you rolling out of the way when dodging. It also works on a bike. I make it a point to equip a pistol when traveling just so that the errant mauler or pirate will either miss or make me dodge while traveling.
Nothing worse than an NPC using a posture change to knock you off your bike when you aren't ready for a fight.

Yes, Dodge appears to be equally effective regardless of posture. I like the kneeling dodge animation myself..

Yeah, it's cool, until you roll behind a tree and can no longer see your target. That's perhaps the most annoying thing about dodge, IMO

I love eating the dodge bonus foods and firing from a kneeling posistion. I roll around like a maniac !!!
