Thread: Why no love? Cause' all you petition for are Holsters, Twirly Moves and Dual Wield...

I wish this community would fight for special fixesand speed fixes instead of eye-candy crap. When the DEVs give us something like holsters, it's used as a band-aid to keep Pistoleers happy. I think we need to fight for more important things to make our profession viable again like it was back in July/August.
I agree with you. There is no doubt that what we need is a complete overhaul of our specials, speed, accuracy and our general overall effectiveness in pvp. What you have to remind yourself of though is the fact that all of our pleas for fixes have been responded to with " It's will all be taken care of in the combat revamp". Kinda hard to scale that wall.......

All that is going to be said to you is "combat balance." No point in complaining even more when we are going to have to wait for the CB anyways.

i was going to say the same thing...... but also add that i'm sure the devs would be more willing to listen what we have to say if people on here didn't slam them left and right
the devs are working FOR you.... we are paying their salary and they WANT to keep us happy- if you want your voice to be heard, you should post on in concept forums, and check out new tests on test center and post on the in testing forum, talk to your correspondent (btw, our current correspondent Randonb is doinga bang-up job)
flaming the devs and saying they're doing a horrible job is NOT the way to get things fixed, neither is starting petitions.... the devs have said they don't read or respond to them, and i personally can't blame them- a lot of petitions are completely unreasonable
I'd work more for special fixes and whatnot myself, but since all we can get on that is that the combat revamp will address it, I like looking forward to some of the more 'cool' features that can be added afterwards.
I take the special fixes as a given, the devs aren't stupid and they know there are problems with them. They're just opting to fix them all at once in the revamp rather than along the way.

We've made it abundantly clear to the developers what our priorities are. They know we want working mechanics before pretty looking animations or holsters.
see? i told you our correspondent is awesome!
Check out the top five issues thread:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=pistoleer&message.id=44073
The top five are colorful, bold game mechanics and balance issues. They are followed by a wishlist of less emphasized wishlist items and visual changes.
So..... I guess your point doesn't exist.
Assuming someone didn't accidentlly delete it, they've had the ingame artwork for holsters since pre-launch (not sure about pre-beta, my memory's not that good
). So, once we see the release of JtL, after all the other publishes, perhaps we'll see them ingame then ![]()
The CB's getting closer and closer, and when it arrives we need to be on the ball, testing anything and everything. I'm sure once we're doing that, holsters and twirly things will be right at the back of our minds. Until then, we wait and we watch, with those of us unable to keep from fidgetting posting about holsters and twirly things ![]()
