when something is vulnerable, AP and AR are not considered..... you will do 100% of the damage

But doesnta mobthat has no armor takes a hitfrom a weapon that has light APtake 25% more damage? Or did they change that? So if what you're sayin is correct, AP only matters when you're fighting creatures that have armor, and they took out the extra damage done when AP is higher than armor? Wasnt it 25% more damage for each level?

Cant find the edit button...anyways, wasnt it, that say, you would normal do damage of 200, you're fighting a creature that has no armor, and your weapon has AP light, you'd do 250 damage then? Cause that's what im asking, im not seeing the extra damage above the creature than what is listed, or did they integrate the extra damage into the combat window?

i think AP only takes effect when the enemy has resistance to it. so if it is vulnerable to acid, then DX2 AP will not factor in. special protection also stops AP from taking effect.
So the best case scenario for AP is for the enemy to have 1% resistance to the damagetype.
at least, i think thats how it works...![]()

well that's a dumb way to do that now.... >_< unless they resist it, AP doesnt count, so anything that has a resistance of <25% its better to use that weapon, than to use a weapon that its vunerable to, which makes no sense >_<

It's a bug, and it's been known about since launch (though we didn't pin it down for a month or two).
I'm hoping it gets fixed. It doesn't just affect Pistoleers, either.

Was wondering this, because, for some reason, I dont see any extra damage displayed above a mobs head, this is for both my DX2 and my Republic Blaster, maybe because they are old guns, but when the mob is vunerable, the damage is only what is listed in the combat window, or did they intergrate the extra damage into what is displayed in the combat window?

i just briefly skimmed through..... when a mob has no vulnerability, armor, or resistence to something, it should still add the 25% if you have AP1.......
are you saying it doesn't? if so, then yes, tha'ts the bug

This is a bug and let me say after mastering Rifleman 2 weeks ago it makes no sense. With my light ap pistols I didn't notice too often but with a T-21 you notice since it has heavy ap. It was hilarious to see a cl15 mob take less damage than a cl30 mob just because the cl15 was vul to energy while the cl30 had 10% resists. So I did almost 1k less damage per shotto the cl15 mob than the cl30. Whats funny is I've been told that devs supposedly have stated they think its working as intended
(thats according to some other rifleman).
