okay so yah i was fencer/doc for awhiel, got tired of not being able to PVE, got tired of healing state effects in pvp the whole time

ive decided to go tkm, master fencer (pve and pvp) with 0040 pistolee (ranged mitgation 2 and defense to states) so yah it took me over 10 hours to get from pistol 4 to novice pistoleer im not a n00b, i wash unting **edit** but pistols just SUCK SO MUCH, how the hell do you level this stuff? (i bought a special krayt scout too, .9 speed, 309 max damage), **edit** this is the worst prof ever how the hell do i level it?

Well first of all you can go about hunting creatures with ranged weapons as you did mastering a melee profession. In my opinion, masteringa melee profession is one of the easiest feats in the game (stand in the middle of a lair, begin unlimited spin attack macro) Leveling up ranged weapons is far more difficult and actually requires strategy.

the true hurts i uges, hell even pikemen is better than this, and ranged profs are easy too, ive done rifleman and carbineer, at least those actually hurt stuff, hwo the hell do u guys even pvp with the worst prof ingame

get a pistol that has AP1?

Seriously, it can't be that hard. Get buffed and brandied' and it should be fairly easy.

I hunt savage quenkers on dant., I dont use any armor or buffs just brandy and I level fast enough for my tastes. If you did this with buffs and armor as well as brandy you could just run throught he missions with impunity.

Easiest way to level it... put down the FWG5 against the 80% heat resistant AR 1 mobs. Use a different weapon.

1. I did it with savage quenkers on Dan and giant baz nitches on Dath.

2. I would advise you to have more than one pistol for the damage types.

3. If it sucks that much, don't do it! Those of us who keep pistols do so because we love them ( some of us in rl so it's a natural extension of ourselves) but if it's not for you that's fine. It's not a prof meant for everyone. You don't need to insult it. You're opinion is just different than ours and leave it at that.

If it's the worst prof ever, than how come smugglers can't smuggle( won't for awhile either as the so-called revamp has been pushed back again)? There are die-hards in that prof too despite that. We have some things that are broken but at least we can still be what our tag says we are.
