Hello everybody.
Sorry I'm basically new to the game with only a few weeks in me and wanted to know if someone could help me with my stats. I am a Bothan obviously and I am looking to become a MBH/Master Pistoleer. I wanted to ask if anyone could help me by giving me suggestions on some good bothan stat migrations because I'm baffled by the whole thing. Thanks in advance.

Since the ol' Astromech tells us that less than 4% of all characters in SWG are Bothans, you might have some trouble getting any responses here. As for myself, my first character was a Bothan, who busted his furry little rump to solo for Master Marksman and Master Scout, so that he could become a Bounty Hunter. He's currently at 0 1 3 1 in BH, so I can share my personal experience with it, and he's never used any buffs other than a little spice. I think I have his stats as follows:
Health: 800
Strength:300
Constitution:300
Action: 1000
Quickness: 650
Stamina: 400
Mind: 900
Focus: 300
Willpower: 300
Basically, if you're going to be a Bounty Hunter and Pistoleer, your specialswill burn through action 10 times faster than any other stat, unless you're constantly popping medic stims. If you play often without doctor buffs or good chef foods (or Power Boost), you'll want to keep your basic HAM pools at a decent level, even if you have to sacrifice lots of secondary stats to do so. I think having a larger HAM pool is more important than having very slightly increased regeneration or slightly lower cost on specials and actions, because having low HAM pools makes it much easier for monsters to incapacitate you.
One of the biggest problems with Bothans, however, is their very low caps on Strength and Constitution, which prevents them from wearing armor with even moderate encumberance. You will probably never be able to equip more than a couple pieces of composite armor, unless you get doctor buffs or some very good chef foods, and that's assuming that every piece gets a halfway decent encumberance slice!
Bothans are great for roleplaying and having fun... but if you're a power gamer, stay away, stay far far away. Bothan stats are probably the worst stats out of all the races, and their racial bonuses don't really do much, even when you do take the specific classes that they apply to. However, if you usually have some doctor buffs going, and you frequently use high quality chef foods, the drawback of abysmal stats won't matter much.
Bothan +no buffs + any combat profession = HARD MODE

Hehe, hey I'm Botha. Master Pistoleer master ranger. So as far as BH stuff I'm not for certain. But no matter the species, for pistols it's the action bar you want to worry about, for pistols drain it fast.
I play primarily unbuffed, especially for PvE. So I actually have my stats setup for running unbuffed. There are not exact, for I'm not certain except on my action.
health=500
Strenth=350
Con=350
Action=1100
Stam=650
End=600
Mind=450
focus=300
willpower=350
I about maxed out the action itself, and made the 2 regen stats for action higher then the others. About the only time I start to burn through my action to dangerous levels is if I'm using a really fast pistol like 1.5speed or faster. And I'm spamming specials for a while. But even so, the worst I get after a battle is down to about half Action.
Now if you plan to run around buffed a lot or all the time, you might consider what others do. They max out the mind stat for their species. Because mind is the hardest to buff,and cant be buffed as much as the others. Then if you have some points left over from maxing mind, dump some into your Action.
The Health, ACtion and Mind stats are called primaries. They are the onse that show on your HAM indicator and the ones that take the damage from things. The other 6 stats are called secondaries. They determine the regeneration rate of the appropriate primary stat.

That's why you play a Rodian ![]()
Anyways in regards to the stats, I personally say max mind and get buffed. Even playing unbuffed as a TKM my mind takes the hardest hits, besides since it is the only thing that cannot be healed you want to have a high pool, and regen rate and low cost of mind points. Everything else can be modified via food and spices or Doc buffs.

i'm a female bothan, only .44% of all players in the game are female bothans. i'm different than most people here in that i never go anywhere unbuffed, maybe its because i live on dantooine and stuff here is 10 times harder than other base planets, or maybes its cus we have an auto buffer in our town. but if you want to hunt the hardcore stuff, i suggest you never go out without buffs. bothans weakness is their mind, compared to humans we are inferior but hell i look sexier than anyone in my guild. i have max mind/focus/will max con/str/quick/stam then split my last 200 points in health and action. really low but then again i never go out unbuffed. i'm master TK/mSMUGG/mPISTOL so if i do get caught in a sticky situation unbuffed i can powerboost to last longer, force of will if i get incapped, or feign death if i catch it fast enough.
