The rewards are random...so no guarantee you'd get it.

You don't get the pistol itself, just the schematic. You need a weaponsmith to make the pistol for you.

You don't get the pistol, you get the schematic so a weaponsmith can make and sell them. I'd sell you mine, but I'm on Kettemoor.

It's about the same,but has some skill modifiers. +5 to Counterattack, Dodge, and Pistol Accuracy.

Supposedly, it is a different kind of counterattack that is universal. Too small to really matter, of course.

And yes, I recieved the schematic as well. (darn jabba faction, spent 2 hours killing valarians...

)

Mind you, in EQ it took weeks to make any headway if you wanted to help out you faction standing with somebody. And most factions had some uber quest you could only do if they liked you, so you had to be careful who you killed. EQ was very much a "in your face, make a noob mistake and you will suffer" kind of game. Star Wars Galaxies is the opposite of EQ in almost every way.

y does it have counter attack i thought that skille like counter and dodge and block only worked with respective weapons like dodge-pistol/1 handed block-pike/rifle counter-carbine/2 handed
