ok, I've read the FAQ and the various reports by our correspondant and the replies by the Dev's but I would like clarification on one question (just to make sure I'm not misreading).

It was stated in the top 5 issues for pistoleers that our defensive abilities such as dodge etc, only seem to work when you have a pistol equiped. Is this still the case, and if so, is this something that is *hopefully* going to change in the combat revamp etc. I'm taking pistoleer for the defensive capabilities to stack with another prof. so that'll be pretty useless if this is not going to change. So I'd just like to make sure that I'm seeing everything correctly.. eventually these things are supposed to be usable while not having a pistol equiped?

Dodge only works when you have a pistol or a Fencer weapon equipped. No official word on whether or not that will change in the Combat Revamp but I doubt it as it cuts down on defense stacking.

I agree. Dodge should only be used while having the appropriate profession equipped. We don't need people with 125 toting rifles the size of their body dodging every blow.

I disagree with you because of my template. I think that dodge should only be stackable if you have both the professions and only with the weapons which you get certified in those professions

I disagree with you because of my template. I think that dodge should only be stackable if you have both the professions and only with the weapons which you get certified in those professions
