With Bounty Hunter's skill drop I've decided to train in my favorite weapon, the pistol! Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone could give me information on which abilities are worthwhile when doing PvP as this mix. I read the faq on the status of all special abilities, but didn't know if the additional speed/accuracy modifers I have will make a difference or not. Any feedback/information will be greatly appreciated.

Master pistoleer with BH pistol is more or less just for the defense mods and accuracy. In PvP u will only use your BH pistol specials. Im now bringing Asyr to master BH, he was master pistoleer/BH 0340 before the skill change. Axik was MBH/pistoleer 4030 since september 2nd when I mastered BH. I havent played him since then til yesterday to master pistoleer real quick. Ive tried all my favorite professions, Im not a hologrinder nor did I ever want to be. I find the pistol/BH combo to be the best for me. Although my friend is now master pistoleer/BH pistol 4/fencer dodge line and he is near impossible to hit. I saw him stand toe to toe with a TKM and master fencer and waxed them np.

Cool, thanks for the response. I'm assuming it's the same vs Jedi? None of the abilities from Pistoleer give me an advantage vs. a Jedi then BH specials? That's actually kinda disappointing, I was hoping for some good new PvP abilities..

Master pistoleer is what makes BH a PvPer, without it, u would most surely die. Dodge and the state defenses are awesome, take kd food and no one can KD u. Master rifleman, fencer, TKM, u name, they are nothing when u have this template.

Great info. This was the path I was taking based on advise from my guildmates. Still wasn't sure it was right for me. But it sounds great.

What are recommendations for MBH/Pistoleer for PvE?

BH gets Bleeding Shot - is this superior to Health Shot 2 and will they stack?

Is Torso Shot better than any of the Pistoleer Specials?

Basically, I just want to know which attacks I should be using and have in my primary toolbar. I don't get into PvP so that's not a concern for me.

Torso shot lights the opponent on fire, with a high damage pistol it will work nicely on a jedi

Bleeding shot will stack with HealthShot1+2, although bleeding shot is kinda lame.

HealthShot hits and bleeds the health pool over time. Bleeding shot first hits all 3 pools for a laughable amount of damage, then bleeds a random pool with a very weak bleed. I don't even bother with it.

Stack up HealthShot1+2 with TorsoShot. You can control most PvE fights by opening with that little number. Get yourself a nice HealthBleed Republic Blaster too.
