Thread: Help Me, Pistoleers, You're My Only Hope...

Before the combat "upgrade", I was Master Pistoleer/TKM/Smuggler 0/4/4/0. I liked the idea of having a ranged profession, with the ability to mix it up if the enemy got too close, and the smuggler skills were the best skills of that profession. Now they've changed it, and I had to give up the smuggler slicing skills, as I couldn't move being negative. Now, MP/TKM seems kind of weak (yeah, I know, TKM was WAY overpowered before, but that's not what I got it for, it was actually more for roleplaying and the ridiculous FS grind).


Now, I'm thinking of either going MP/Master Carbineer, or MP/MBH. Any help you guys could give me, I'd greatly appreciate, I do NOT want to give up Master Pistoleer!! (BTW, I was previously a MC and MBH, and had given those up back when they were still extremely broke, lol).

Well either is a viable chose, but if you like Pistols then I would say I would go MP/MBH because with the use of pistols in both of these you get bonuses to Pistols. Carbineer would be a good choice though because you get different bonuses for the use of this, but you won't be as strong in Pistols as you would be with the other one. Unless your existing template includes scout with someexplorationskill you're going to need a lot of additional skillpoints to pick up bh. Carbineer would be easier to pick up but you would lack any additional pistol-specific accuracy, speed, and defense.

Or you could just master Smuggler. There are some good ranged mods and specials in Smuggler.

My template has proved amazing, in pvp and pve.


Master Smuggler, Master pistoleer, 0210 BH.
