I know you are taking this from the weaponsmith forums, but that is not true. I am a Master Weaponsmith and crafted a krayt dl44xt for my smuggler alt that is 1.96 spd and 314 - 909 damage (speed is unmodified). My modified DPS after my smuggler got his hands on it was 536.28.

just had a post patch scatter made.


1.7 940 with an uber 5% damage slice. o yeah!

used 167 -0.67 krayt tissue made by a 12 point smith.

like 540 modd'd dps with mbh and like 3 pistol boxes

What is DPs and is Higher better or sucky?

higher the better, base dps tells you what the raw damage is whithout your skills.
