I don't recall losing any specials, except for Multi-target Pistol shot and Point Blank Area / Single... In fact our specials actually -work- now.

Our speed was never that great to begin with, particularly not compared to professions like Riflemen.

Depends on what range you want to fight at. I carry a Rifle now, too and switch between the two during combat. Carbines are not that great point blank.

taking away pistols? Before the CU I would use either a DX2 or a Rep Blaster (didn't ever get around to getting a Geo or De-10). Never would have thought about using anything else.

Last night my friend let me borrow a DL44 XT made with a krayt tissue. I was able to use that and an FWG and be as effective. I could have switched out the DX2 or Rep as well. I have options now with what I can use, and I like it. Once I get MBH, I can add the hi cap scatter as an option as well.

pre-CU I used 3 specials. PMD1, health shot, and fan shot. Post CU, I use a wide variety of specials. Again, I have options.

The one thing I do not like is the 35m range. 40~45m would be better.

about the spd though i forgot to mention i was a bh and you got a good bit of extra spd from bh pistol tree
