Thread: Need advice on one line of pistols

I am doing MBH/Msmuggler on main due to the roleplay aspect of smuggler that is coming and I like the BH moves and defenses. I was going to go up 1 line in pistols to 4 but having a problem choosing.
I can go up the first line and get +20 speed which is nice..
I can go up the 2nd line and get the nice +general accuracy
The 4th line has Imporved fan shot (is that still any good) and it has the improved stopping shot but as smuggler I get the concussion shot so dont know if it is a waste, on diff timer etc.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've been finding very little use for Fan Shot in PvE so far. I've removed it from my toolbar. The cone is narrower than it used to be, and our weapon range is so much shorter now that the cone is too small to enclose many mobs. They really have to be tightly grouped or lined up just right to encompass more than about one or two mobs. When you do get more than 1 or 2 mobs, you're in big trouble because they'll all aggro on you, and it's too difficult to solo multiple mobs now (particularly if they're close to your combat level). It could be usefulin some situationsif you're grouped though.
I did encounter a couple of situations today when 2 or 3 mobs had already aggroed on me (I wandered into a group ofsome hostile NPCs while I was kiting some creatures) and they were in a tight group, and I hit them with fan shot a few times and killed a couple of them at once. There wasn't anything else around that I was worried about aggroing, so it worked out well.
Stopping Shot (and the advanced version) is possibly the best special I have ever used in this game. The line that has stopping shot is probably the most useful line to pick up in Pistoleer. I have no idea how it compares with or supplements Concussion Shot.

C. Shot is still broken for the Smugglers last I checked...

i don't have smuggler but i believe it works and is a 40 sec root .

It does good damage and you can rotate Body Shot, Quick Draw and Fanshot.

I am going Master Smuggler/Master BH/Pistol 0004.
Fanshot and Sprayshot is on different timers so you can use them for fairly good aoe.
At this time stoppingshot and Concussionshot do the samething but they are supposed to be different and hopefully will be in the future, therefor complementing each other well.
Stopping is working as intended, a shot that roots but let the oppnonent fire back, does not break on damage. At this time concussion is the same but it's supposed to be a root that also stops the target from attacking but will break on damage.
And last but not least, +40 ranged and +40 melee def can't be bad
