17 points to spread into Pistoleer what should I get to be at least decently effective (update in mind)

i can either master one tree

expert 1 and intermeidate 1

intermediate in 3 of the 4

now i think the second option is best but dunno which i should go for any thoughts

(my other 2 professions will be mastering BE and CH)

Unfortunately the answer largely depends upon how / when they're going to re-enable defensive skills.

And I'm sure this is not an answer you're looking for, but I'd say ditch BE and buy your pets from someone else instead

The effectiveness of Pistol Melee Defense 1 post nerf has yet to be determined. Previously it was one of our best skills (our best up till master). BS3 needs fixing, but will they? If so, it will be a great one to get. The accuracy line would be a nice pick up too.

what i was thinking is Stopping Shot + Pistol Whip (even with nerf atm)

nah i want BE because I want something non-combatish to do sometimes, and I think, with the right fixes, it could prove to be really cool.

Based on the fun my guild's master BE has had with it, I'd say you're right about it being a good choice for a non combat profession.

As of right now, the accuracy line looks the best. If they improve BS3, that could be breat. If they enable the defensive skills, then that would probably be the best line to go up. So unfortunately I can't give you a recommendation that I'm sure would still be valid a month from now
