Okay, here is the deal. I am about 80K Pistol XP from Novice Pistoleer, and this 200-300xp per kill stuff just isn't workin for me. I will be bored to tears long before I ever get Novice Pistoleer. There has be a faster way (without crazy things like Rancors and Frenzied Grauls involved, although I am going to be a Master CH someday, I am nowhere near it yet)...

Has anyone ever written some kind of hunting guide for Pistoleers? If not, can anyone give me some suggestions as to how they got through this period of XP'ing? Such as, what planet/city to base myself at, what missions to take...or better yet, where to go find a decent group? Should I head to Lok, Endor or Dath and try and get a group, for instance?

If anyone has any input, it would be much appreciated it.

get a meat shield. or get trapping 3 in the scout tree

then make phecnician darts (traps) they slow your target. then make a ton of them.. also picking up some booster blue is good to boost your action pool. go find some rontos on tatooine near wayfar, or some bolle bols north of theed. then eat your spice and trap them and just keep shooting, and trapping.. they worth about 2000-3000 xp a pop. and when you solo them feels pretty good.

or you can do this. higher out a medic who needs med xp, then just take the hits and let the medic heal you. works for everyone. but the medic needs to be high enough so you dont die. but trapping 3 is stupid good. and most people laugh, but i was soloing fambas befor half the crowd had even seen one.

oh yeah one last thing...

time your traps... you can usually trap, shoot 5 times and then trap again, waiting befor you fire again to see if the trap landed. in most cases you can almost anything without even getting hit. although i will warn if your trapping isnt high enough you will egt alot of failures. that's bad ..
