I'm just a novice gunfighter and would like to find an area/mob suitable to get 1,000xp/kill solo (or higher). Any tips appreciated. Have a creature to fight with if that helps(CH too).

Correlia, coronet. Go north and look for my old friend the humbaba. These big guys are insta death, but hopefully you have warning shot by now. Threaten shot might work, but warning is the key. Just simply Bleed, shoot and use warning shot when needed. After a while they will slow down then you can take them. Its not the easiest with a carbine, but **edit** easy with a pistol. If you really want to do it fast and take a slight exp hit just scare them into almost anything, vrelts esp. Most wild creatures will aggro on them. If you want more good exp go to dathomire and solo backarest. YOu have to be smart about it..they are non aggressive, but will assist eachother. This will give you as much exp as a baz nitch..and ifyou can get them stuck on the side of a hill or in a valley..wich happens a bit for me..they will fall pretty fast. All of this depends on good use of warning shot.

Where life had no value,
Death, sometimes had its price.
That is why the Bounty Killers appeared.

MAKE DROIDS WORK OR THIS IS ALL POINTLESS.
FIX THE WEAPON SWITCH
MOVE JEDI HUNTING TO STALKER RANK
GIVE MBH A SIGNIFICANT BOOST TO PLAYER TRACKING(SO THEY CAN BE MBH)

A place I had a lot of fun solo was on Rori. Place is loaded with Rabbit-like creatures, that you can outrun. To start at the bottom:

Midnight Vir Vur's - aggressive, but not too tough. Drop your Health Shots on them and if you can get your hands on a AR1 pistol that'll help you tremendously. Of all the Vir Vur's the Midnights are the toughest and I believe I was getting just over 1k per kill from them.

The other favorite of Rori are the Leviasqualls. Huge versions of the Vir Vurs/squalls, neutral. I hunted these nearly to extinction while everyone else was beatin' feet to Dathomir to kill the Baz Nitches. Just like the above critters, drop your Bleeds on them. These bunnies have an AR of 1 so the DX2 will definately come in handy ( or Scattergun if you've gone that route ) Either of these weapons will increase your damage output greatly. Actually the DX2 will be better simply because the Leviasqualls have a 20% resistance to Energy blasts (Scout Pistols). 1.6k xp from these per kill, but I should mention now, that to get this amount you have to be grouped. So since you're a CH, hopefully you have can teach the group command and take advantage of the bonus xp. I grouped with a Probot since I was such a weak CH that I couldn't teach the stay command and hated my little buddy always tagging along as I was running for my life kiting 8 4500HAM mobs behind me all bleeding to death.

I had a lot of fun on Rori, but I was able to take advantage of the peace and quiet while everyone was on their Dathomir trip. On both the above critters, you can find Destroy missions on these. Personally, besides the better xp, I liked hunting the Levias much better simply because they were HUGE and easy to spot. Another note: Both are social, so prepare yourself for company, however later on you'll find yourself taking 4 out for a spin and circling back to the nest to pick up the new spawns while the others bleed to death as they chase you. You can do both of these without having to use Pistol Whips or Warning Shots.

For bigger xp, you can journey to the now, very dangerous Dathomir. After I heard about the change to the Baz's I thought I would check them out (after reading some of the crying posts that went something like: OMG you nerfed'em and now I effin hate this game, I'm cancelin') These little critters are a bit of a pain but I find that I enjoy hunting here now, since it's fairly deserted now. I rarely see anyone running around out in the wild. The Biz Natches are fun to hunt. Dangerous, as they run faster than you. Extremely social. ( It seemed that I would always get at least 2 every time I shot at one) This is important as well for use with Warning Shot if you have it, as your newly scared Baz runs near some of his clear headed friends, they will come to you seeking retribution. (Once had to fire so many Warning Shots due to so many adds, I went from nearly 1k Action to about 50 during one fight simply on WS's alone, the problem with so many tightly packed Biz nests in a small proximity) Anyways, I've heard ppl being extremely successful with Pistol Whip here. I'm not one of them. My ticket to ride was with using Warning Shot obviously. Pistol Whip would give me a about 500 dmg using a DX2 but wasn't knocking them down, and unarmored, I was taking too much dmg per hit from these guys. I was getting 4.7k xp per kill taking about 1.5 to 2 mins to yoyo kite these bad boys. Found I could bring down 2 quicker by using the Phen Dart trap from Scout Trapping line. I would put my bleeds on one and WS him while his buddy was closing, Then I would bleed the second, WS and then start to throw my Phen Dart when they were around 40m away. By the time the Dart would hit, they'd be at around 50m and I would begin using normal shots while I let my Action regen up to full and then throw in a couple of BS2's to sweeten them up quicker. WS again as the Dart's effect cease.

Sorry bout the rambling, just realized I was writing a book. Was also grouped with my Probot during these fights. You kind find missions for these babies too, they'll be the ones worth 9k or more, but I've found that it was usually too much of a pain in the butt trying to dig out the particular nest I needed to kill (since I keep finding networks of these nests together. All with overlapping fields of fire) From the science outpost on Dath you can head East and you'll find them fairly easy and very abundant. They'll be the millions of tiny red dots on your overhead radar.

Enough with my rambling, hop a shuttle and go get some xp.

-DN(Loves his pet Leviasquall, AtillaDaBun, too much to subject him to violence. Whereas his probot get's beat to hell. /say Chopper sick balls)
