Thread: Master commando/Master pistoleer, or Master commando/TKM?
and 0040 will make that uber FT even more uber seeing as how that is the shock trooper tree for FT. But why waste your SP on things you wont use 4000 is def but you get better def with pistoleer.
0004 is the acid tree and not even MCs use the acid cannon for too much and last is 0400 thrown weapons worthless so I say go 0040 commando to use your uber Ft to the fullest and still get awsome def from your Pistoleer and TKA trees and you get the healing you wanted from the medatate tree in TKA now you can be a mystic ohhhhhhh
Ive also heard you need to be Master commando,master SL,master ranger, or master BHto wear mandolorian armor
and I want to wear it....
Why not try Master pistoleer/TKM and go 3-0-0-0 on commando u can still use Launcher pistol plus u get good all round defences. TKM things when they r up close and when they run u don't need to chase switch to pistol. I find it works well for me.
Pistoleer Commando is fun, albeit rather inefficient in your standard PvP scenario. Once both professions are balanced/fixed in patch 10 I think it will be one of the funnest ones available, myself.
Until then though, I'd say your best off getting MP/MTKA and maybe as much of heavy support weapons or the flamethrower line as you can (The fire DoT is very useful PvE, and the HSW have high AP to compensate for pistoleer's lack of it.)

Basically, with Master TKM, you'll get all TK has to offer, and that's a lot. Pistoleer will get you some specials and mods to go along with that launcher pistol of yours, which will make it actually useful. Just imagine owning AT-STs with just fanshot and a launcher.
Commando is a ranged proffession, so it's good to have a melee backup so you don't get owned in close quarters, but if you want to accentuate your ranged fighting, pistoleer would be a better option.
